Richard Campanella

Richard Campanella, a geographer with the Tulane University School of Architecture, is the author of numerous articles and seven critically acclaimed books about New Orleans, including Bourbon Street: A History, Lincoln in New Orleans, Bienville’s Dilemma, and Geographies of New Orleans. The only two-time winner of the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities Book of the Year Award, Campanella has also received the Williams Prize for Louisiana History, the Tulane Mortar Board Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Hannah Arendt Prize for Scholarship in the Public Interest, and the Monroe Fellowship from the Tulane’s New Orleans Center for the Gulf South. He and his family live in New Orleans.

Heather Chapman

Heather Chapman and Judith Stillman have lived in Melbourne for most of their adult lives. They travel extensively within Australia and overseas and between them they have worked in the UK, New Guinea and India. They are both qualified teachers and held senior positions at the MacRoberston Girls High School, teaching History, Geography, English and Computer Technology and have previously worked on texts for seconday school students.

Su Kim Chung

Dr. Su Kim Chung has been Manuscripts Librarian/Archivist in Special Collections at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Libraries since 1999. She is responsible for selecting, preserving, and organizing materials that document the history of Las Vegas and the southern Nevada region. She is particularly interested in documenting the history of entertainment in Las Vegas and has written and presented on the topic numerous times. A graduate of UCLA’s Information Studies program, Chung also has an MA in history from CSU Fresno, and received a PhD in Information Studies at UCLA in 2015.

James Campi Jr.

James Campi Jr. is a political communications veteran who holds a lifelong interest in the Civil War. He is currently responsible for government and public relations at the Civil War Trust, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Civil War battlegrounds. He has edited several books on the Civil War and has successfully lobbied for $100 million in government grants for historic preservation. He has also led grassroots campaigns to save Gettysburg, Wilderness and Chancellorsville battlefields.

Peter Caine

<p>Peter and Oriel Caine run Paris Walks, a company that gives walking tours of Paris in English. They are both qualified guide lecturers. Peter has a degree in history and art history and Oriel has a master’s degree in history and French literature.</p>

Polly Cooper

Polly Wylly Cooper is a true Savannahian, born in 1940 in the Telfair Hospital for Women. Her books include: Sand Between Our Toes, Tybee Days, Isle of Hope – Images of America, A Visitors’ Guide to Savannah, Savannah Guidebook, and Bluff Drive and the Isle of Hope Churches. She lives on the Isle of Hope.
