Bob Skiba

Bob Skiba is an acclaimed tour guide and an expert on Philadelphia history and culture. He lectures regularly on topics ranging from eighteenth-century dance to the Prohibition. He is President of the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides and editor of the Tour Guides’ Handbook. He is the head archivist at the LGBT Archives at the William Way Center in Philadelphia.

Anthony Sammarco

Anthony Sammarco is an historian and author of sixty books on the history and development of Boston, and lectures widely on the history and development of his native city. He commenced writing in 1995, and his books Dorchester and The Baker Chocolate Company: A Sweet History have made the bestsellers list. Boston’s Back Bay in the Victorian Era, Dorchester: Volume II, Dorchester Then & Now, Boston’s North End (and Il North End di Boston in Italian) and the Great Boston Fire of 1872, are among his perennially popular books.

Derek Strahan is the author of Lost Springfield, Massachusetts, and the historical blog Lost New England.com, which traces the grand buildings and institutions that have disappeared from the six states. He is a graduate of Westfield State University with degrees in English and Regional Planning, and he currently teaches English at The Master’s School in Simsbury, Connecticut. He lives in Springfield, Massachusetts, with his wife Melissa and their son Isaiah.

Joe Sonderman is a prolific Route 66 author and has one of the most extensive collections of Route 66 postcards in the USA. He has written 13 books on the Mother Road, including Route 66 in Illinois, Missouri, St. Louis, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.

Jeffrey Steen is a long-time resident of Denver, and has been engaged in the city’s cultural scene for many years. He has done extensive freelance writing for OutFront Colorado, YellowScene magazine, The Denver Post, and other regional media. He currently lives in Boulder.

Jeff Suess

<p>Jeff Suess is the author of <em>Lost Cincinnati</em> and <em>Hidden History of Cincinnati</em> and is the librarian of the <em>Cincinnati Enquirer</em>, where he keeps the newspaper archive and writes about Cincinnati history. He regularly gives presentations on local history and lives in White Oak on Cincinnati’s West Side with his wife, Kristin, and their daughter, Dashiell.</p>
